HARVEST
FESTIVAL

The band played at the Harvest festival in the Holbeach Parish Church. The band played before the service started and again as the congregation departed. We also played for some of the hymns, with the church organ playing others.
Unfortunately, a number of the band members were absent through holidays and other commitments, and it was not one of the band's better performances - the absence of colleagues caused a lot of nervous playing! It did not help that the band had to split into two halves either side of the knave to allow access to the choir stalls and the altar.
