The Band made its first appearance of the season in Carters Park, by kind permission of the Holbeach Town Council. This year, the Council provided professional security for the band and the audience and we had no trouble at all - unlike last year's opening concert!
It was a pleasant afternoon but the audience was very disappointing.
The band was rather depleted with a number of players unable to attend. Fortunately our colleagues at the Kirton Brass Band provided two solo cornet players, and we also borrowed their drum-kit player.
