CHRISTMAS CONCERT
15th December 2001
The band performed to an excellent standard for their annual Christmas concert. It took place in the W.I. Hall Holbeach on Saturday evening before a disappointingly small but enthusiastic audience.
The Programme is shown below. The first half of the concert was mainly normal concert pieces with limited connection to Christmas but, as the Musical Director announced, the films, where we played the themes, would no doubt be on television over the Christmas period. But the second half was purely Christmas music including many Christmas songs which the audience could sing along to - the Band provided their own Christmas Song sheet.
