The joint concert between Holbeach Town Band and the popular Spalding Grammar School Concert Band (musical director Eric Wayman) was well received by an appreciative audience.

Programme

The concert took place at the Spalding Grammar School Hall starting at 7.30pm.  

The school built a second stage in front of its main stage so that both bands could appear together.  

Holbeach Town Band opened the concert with the rousing march Aces High.  

Musical Director Mel Hopkin played the Solo 40 Fathoms on BBb Bass for Holbeach Band and Trumpet player Adam Wilson played If My Friends Could See Me Now for the Concert Band

Both bands combined for an encore of the Blues Brothers' Everybody Needs Somebody.
