The Band's annual Autumn concert was a great success.  There was good support for the Band from an enthusiastic audience in the Women's Institute Hall, Holbeach on Saturday evening 22 September 2001.  The concert also featured local singer Heidi Porter (who was joined by her dancers, Lauren Porter and Christine Gregory) as the Band's guest - she sang popular music accompanied by backing tracks.

A photographer from the Lincolnshire Free Press took photographs at the start of the concert.

The Band's programme is shown below.  Before the Band's final session, they played the American National Anthem in memory of the tragedy at the World Trade Centre.  The conductor mentioned that the following pieces 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and 'Everybody Needs Somebody' were particularly apt.

A raffle was held in support of band funds;  and refreshments were served in the interval.

The Band are very grateful to those players from the Kirton Brass Band who helped out.  And thanks also to Heidi Porter and her dancers who did so much to make the evening a success.

There was a Report of the concert in the Spalding Guardian dated 27 September 2001
