This is our first organ recital, and we have chosen Martin from the Countess of Munster Musical Trust Recital Scheme lists. He has won all the major prizes for organ at the Royal Academy of Music and studies with Nicholas Kynaston and Dame Gillian Weir. The success of his concert programmes derives from a sensitive ability to select repertoire perfectly suited to the nature of each instrument, venue and occasion, together with his combination of historically-aware styles of playing, technical command and instinctive musicality. He will delight us with a programme of Mendelssohn, Schumann, Reger, J S Bach, Mozart and his own arrangement of Moszkowski's Spanish Dances op. 12. | ||
