POULENC: AUBADE FOR PIANO & 18 INSTRUMENTS (Pascal Rogé, soloist) TCHAIKOVSKY SYMPHONY no 2 in C minor: "Little Russian" Mark Elder is one of our foremost conductors and Pascal Rogé is, of course, THE pianist when it comes to the French repertoire; together with the performance of one of Tchaikovsky's finest symphonies, this promises to be a memorable evening. In addition, there will be a free pre-concert talk/recital at 6.30pm during which Colin Matthews will introduce his orchestrations of Debussy's Preludes and Pascal Rogé will perform the five preludes in their original piano version. The coach will leave Spalding at 4.00pm to arrive in time for the pre-concert event. (This is of course optional - you may prefer to make use of the bar!) The concert begins at 7.30pm and should be finished by 9.30pm. Tickets for seats in the stalls will cost £15.40. as long as there
are 40 people in the group. ( If there are fewer, it will be £17.30) Please fill in the tear-off slip and send with remittance of £15.40
per person, (CHEQUE PAYABLE TO SOUTH HOLLAND CONCERTS) to Anna Maxey,
